Post-acquisition integration (PAI) plays a crucial role in determining the success of mergers and acquisitions by enabling organizations to achieve operational efficiency, financial stability, and sustainable growth. This study examines the role of post-acquisition integration in selected mergers and acquisitions in the Indian iron and steel industry. The study focuses on key integration dimensions, including operational, financial, technological, and human resource integration, and their influence on sustainable organizational growth. It is based on secondary data collected from the annual reports and published financial statements of selected companies. The findings are expected to demonstrate that effective post-acquisition integration enhances operational performance, creates long-term shareholder value, and supports sustainable growth. The study also proposes a strategic framework to assist organizations in improving post-acquisition integration and achieving long-term business success.
